Menomonee Falls, WI, November 13, 2013 – MTE Corporation, a world leader in the design and manufacture of electrical power quality products for commercial and industrial applications, is pleased to introduce the new SineWave Guardian™ Filter. SineWave Guardian Filters transform the output of VFDs to a near perfect sinusoidal waveform to provide the best motor protection resulting in increased productivity, less downtime, and lower cost.

Providing unequaled performance in cleaning the PWM waveforms generated by VFDs, the SineWave Guardian eliminates high frequency content and voltage peaks to extend system efficiency and motor life out to 15,000 feet. It has outstanding reliability and durability and its tolerance of higher ambient temperatures makes it ideal for a variety of applications from steel mills to oil fields. With concentration in the Oil and Gas industry, MTE will showcase the SineWave Guardian in booth # 635 November 13th and 14th at the Rockwell Automation Fair in Houston.

The SineWave Guardian with its patent-pending design offers high performance and better efficiency with a smaller size than traditional LC Filters. The modular design and smaller footprint makes it easy to install and integrate. They are available in 380V – 480V with current range from 2A to 720A in modular, NEMA 1 / 2 and NEMA 3R configurations.

MTE Corporation is an international supplier of power quality products designed to improve the reliability of power electronic systems and adjustable frequency drives. MTE manufactures line/load reactors, Matrix® Passive Harmonic Filters, Matrix PureSine® Active Harmonic Filter, EMI/RFI filters, DC link chokes, dV/dt and sine wave motor protection filters, plus numerous custom magnetic products that provide power quality solutions in a broad range of applications.
