MTE Corp, a global leader in power quality solutions, will exhibit at Rockwell Automation’s 2024 Automation Fair November 18 – 21 in Anaheim California. Automation Fair is an annual event bringing together over 10,000 industry experts and leaders focused on shaping the future of industrial operations. MTE will be exhibiting in booth # 1103.
MTE’s line of power quality filters can help you achieve greater productivity with lower costs and improved energy efficiency. This year, show attendees will be able to experience the impact of MTE solutions first-hand by interacting with several demonstrations in the MTE booth. The demonstrations will allow attendees to visually experience electrical waveforms and see the impact that our line and load side filters make on power quality.
Using our interactive touch screen demo, attendees will be able to experience simulated system scenarios, including various line lengths, and choose different MTE products to drop into the scenario. This will allow system designers to understand how each of MTE’s products could improve power quality in their own systems, by experiencing the change of the electrical waveform when our products are added in.
MTE’s new microNexus® demo includes an operating motor controlled by a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD), with MTE’s microNexus® load side filter wired into the system. Using an oscilloscope, attendees will be able to visually see the actual voltage waveform created by a VFD going direct to the motor, and how that waveform changes to a nearly perfect sinusoidal waveform when the microNexus® is added into the system. The microNexus® is a revolutionary filter that protects motors from VFD-induced damage, without the need for common mode chokes, inductive absorbers or shaft grounding rings.
One of the highlights of 2024 Automation Fair will be a presentation by MTE’s Application Engineer, Aisha Bajwa, in the Partner Network Discovery Theater located on the show floor. The presentation “VFDs and Power Quality: Protecting Your Assets” will take place at 3pm on Wednesday November 20th. This is a great opportunity to learn about the types of power quality problems associated with VFDs, and solutions available from MTE to solve these issues.
We look forward to seeing you at booth #1103 at 2024 Automation Fair and getting you immersed in our solutions! We’re eager to share with you how MTE can help improve Power Quality in your facility!
